Gracie and Nola: Kitties Who Play
A Bookwomb Tale of a Splendid Day
Up to new mischiefs, two kitties play,
On their adventures, it’s a new day.
Gracie is young, Nola’s wise and old,
In their house, they are both very bold!
With paws so gentle, they start to push,
A bowl made of glass, feeling the rush.
Gracie’s entranced, while the bowl wobbles,
Nola's now watching, as it tobbles.
A ball of red yarn, tempting the pair,
Gracie sliding in, without a care.
Nola joins now, so that she can teach,
Lessons of yarning, all in her reach.
Plants make a jungle, so very lush,
Through stems and leaves, they move their tush.
Home is their sandbox, filled with its grain,
In plants and sand, new knowledge they gain.
A light beaming down, so strong and free,
Catches their eyes, teasing ‘now get me!’
They chase with great ease, jumping through air,
Capturing beams, a talented pair.
